Operating carrier
The airline that physically operates a flight segment, which may differ from the marketing or ticketing carrier in codeshare and interline scenarios.
Accurate capture of operating versus marketing versus ticketing carriers prevents servicing and settlement errors. Expose this clearly in the order so agents and corporate travellers understand who will fly the segment and who owns changes.
