Fare basis
An airline code that identifies a specific fare with its booking class and conditions. Used widely in GDS pricing, auditing and reporting.
Even when selling through NDC, capturing fare basis (when provided) helps with auditing and reconciliation, especially where back‑office processes still match against ATPCO constructs.
