GDS (Global Distribution System)
Airline and travel distribution networks such as Amadeus, Sabre and Travelport. GDSs aggregate fares, schedules and availability and provide ticketing, settlement and agency tooling built on decades of standards.
GDSs remain a core source of airline content and servicing. Many agencies run GDS and NDC side by side. A unified API returns GDS content in the same structure as NDC and LCC so agents and mid‑office systems work with one order model.
